Long Johns do the trick for me in winter, especially when I'm out on the bike.

Never used to need them, but am an old git now. :/

My google-fu is failing me. Looking for thermal/fleece lined work trousers with holster pockets.

Anybody wear these in the winter months?

I have some long johns. They fit under any trousers, so remove the need for looking for the trousers you can't find. Plus, you get the nostalgia value of wearing the same sort of thing your great-grandad would have worn :) Seriously, though, it's a simple solution that works and is very cheap. IIRC I paid £4 for a pair.

Just wear a set of thermals under your regular work trousers. They’re a little more expensive, but I find the Under Armor ones to be very hard wearing. Moisture wicking and breathable too, so you don’t get all sweaty if you find yourself working in a warmer environment.

Thermal trousers and/or some sort of ski trousers surely. What are those black padded trousers you see builders wearing?
