Anyone that has this cooler, is it pretty quiet when CPU at load.

Also any idea on why these are not available anywhere? dates seem to keep being pushed back.

It's quiet under load - but it's so efficient at cooling i run mine at 25% fan speed when idle and when the temp hits 55 Degrees (under load) the BIOS only bumps up the fan speed to 50% as it still keeps temps under ~60degrees.

Great cooler for the money.

My Noctua NH-D14 runs well 4.6ghz 61c while running prime95 but i dont use there paste i use Chill factor 3.

which version of prime and which voltage that does seem very low not questioning it just interested to know I have one eye on a d14 but might wait for the new noctua

The Thermalright Archon is not too far behind the Silver Arrow (albeit with just one fan), is in stock and just under 20 quid cheaper ... only problem is it is a very tall heatsink.

Hi, the Silver Arrow is an awesum cooler (im using 1 on a 965 @4ghz). You just gorra make sure that you have enough clearance from the cooler fins to your side door. I could not get the side door on a Silverstone Temjin TJ07 and didnt want it forced on, Currently using a Lian Li PC-P80R and fits perfectly. The included thermal paste is also good but takes 200hrs (finking out loud so better to check on net) to fully work itself in.

Hope my 2cents helps :)

Installed the NH-D14, computer as quiet as its gunna get me thinks. @4.5ghz the cores are running at 46,55,51,43. seems quite a bit high at idle. spent quite a bit on fans n coolers was hoping a bit better than that.
