i have a large thermaltake case bought about a year ago, and i put all hardware inside it my self (im a n00b at bulding computers), but ever since i did it the case just seems to collect so much dust its unreal, not only that but it seems to be impossible to hide all the wires, u cant see any of the fancy led lights on the fans through the glass side panel because of the wires all over the place, just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to make a nice tidy case inside for when i install my new upgrade into it.

Cheers.

at work, ill take pics for you tonight and get case model,
please dont laugh though, becuase it really is a disgrace!!!
Pics will be on bout half 4.

my TT armour is a bit of a squeeze with the watercooler. Use small black cables ties for most of the wires and the consealed back panel to hide unused cables from the top of the case. Rounded IDE helps the look. My old TT case collected a lot of dust unless it was on top of the desk

I wouldn't spend too much time making everything neat, when/if you need to take it apart or add drives it just makes it harder. I just bung them to one side. Job done. If they're all tie wrapped together have to get pliers out, get a light, snip it etc.

Sweet jeebus :(

Good luck

There are an obscene amount of molex extenders (?) right in the middle there, whats the deal?

You could try facing your HDDs the other way so the cables are at the back...

olololol
told you it was a mess!!!
if i managed to clean it will up and made it neat when i put my new system in, should this case be good for overclocking due to the 8 standard fans that are in it and the sheer size!! lol.

the fans are using a small connector aint they?
its a complicated case(well for me)
i havnt even set up the thermomitors on it to watch the temp of the GFX CPU etc, just too confusing for me, and im no good with fiddly bits, just gets me mad. when i get my new system i think i might try find someone who has done one before and they can do it for me for me give em £5 an hour lol. :p

The reason why its a crasy jungle of cables is due to all the fans using molex passthrough cables to connect to the fancontroller. I used to have a Thermaltake Xaser3(Almost identical to yours(Oh the shame :p )) And mine ended us in the same mess. I managed to reduce it a bit but really thinking about what cables needed to go where, and using loads of cable ties to connect them all together. Many of the cables ended up tucked behind the cross strut thing(If you feel behind it, its hollow.) But the moral of the story.. you bought a Thermltake, haha! :p

lol ye, now i know!!
il lhave a look tonight, but looks like i might need to get a new case if i want something tidy!
It also seems to collect sooooooooo much dust everywehre as well.

Can anyone recommend a good case for overclocking then. nothing to small and im on a very tight budget lol.

I thought mine was bad! i should post a pic of mine and the definition for bad would be set - yours has its own definition!

LOL
so is it really that bad?
ok well new years res, get upgrade for xmas and sort my case out! either make that neat or if im struggling buy a new case a guess, just dont want to keep forkin out money i dont have, espec when i got made redundant from work on monday!!
hope the thermaltake case will do after a bit of time and effort.
