thermaltake cases

thermaltake cases rock i dont care what you say your all negative anyway tipical forums you post somthing and you end up with a mouthful back

You're the only one giving people a mouthful. Do you expect everyone to like Thermaltake cases just because you do?

We're all negative? Read more or less any other thread in this forum and I think you'll find we are very positive, since we have something called taste.

Lol my first topic here, but your tast is definitely not mine! I am a Thermaltake user : Thermaltake Tpower 700W cable management and Armor+ black. Lovely product which fits my personal needs!

Besides that since 2008 almost all product of Thermaltake has been reviewed as good quality product.
As I am starting to learn Overclocking I am not interested in negativity of used products but more in how to get the maximum out of my machine.

Thanks for your worthless input :)

Babelfish strikes again! :D

Not a big fan of thermaltake cases after my experience with a tsunami dream case, flimsy panels and poor cooling, gimmick features like the screwless pci bracket system (couldnt hold graphics/sound cards in place) ended up removing it and using screws. Needless to say it got replaced rather quickly with an akasa eclipse. Saying that though i do like the toughpower psu's which are essentially rebadged corsairs.

Had M9 before i moved to Fortress and i can say that the build quality totally different and much better on Fortress and also Fortress gives me 6c cooler than M9.

M9 still not bad case and it's quite good comparing to the other Thermaltake actually. One thing i can say that Thermaltake feels really plasticky compare to my Fortress.

Do yourself a favour and spend a bit more but will last longer than Thermaltake :D

How many drive bays do you need? Fortress have 6 bays for hdd and 5 5.25 external bays for dvd drives

What was your case? and when?

The toughpower psu which I have is really stable and has 0 failures until now (12 months) the only thing is that I need more power for a second gigabyte crossfire hd4850 card. Just to get a payable machine Thermaltake offers in my eyes nice quality for a price that is fair enough. My windowed armor looks awsome :)

Ok enough about Thermaltake :). Let get my system work :).

At the moment I am using:
gigabyte EP45-DS3
e6600 quad core
2x gigabyte hd4850 1GH
4gb RAM Patriot Memory
700W toughpower cable management Thermaltake.

What can I do to pimp my pc with my small student budget? Someone any advice? or do i need to change topic for this?

Thermaltake cases are for the most part rubbish. Poorly made and badly designed.

However with a bit of work you can make some of them presentable. I recently aquired a Mozart TX very cheaply and have moved my main system over to it ( with a fair bit of tinkering ).

The results are good so far... very low noise, good cooling and zero vibrations.

Sorry for the poor pics, this camera is useless/old :p

are you guys kidding? ive been salivating over the new thermaltake element s ! why havent they got that for sale on ocuk?
check it out!

Yeah, look at all that plastic. The inside looks fairly well designed but the outside just looks tacky.

the reason why i am getten that is because i am going to put 2 powerful graphics cards in and also a powerful power supply and also liquid cooling aswell and several hard drives also what i cant understand is why are people in this world so damn negative all the time

They aren't negative all the time, only towards things that deserve it. You could have got a much better case for the money in terms of build quality, cooling, noise reduction, features and in most people's opinions looks too.

Do yourself a favour and spend a bit more but will last longer than Thermaltake :D

He doesn't even need to spend more, the Fortress costs the same as the PoS Thermaltake he bought while being a much better case.

Geaar, plastic, 'orrible. I had the Soprano case and I thought the "tool-less" design on that was awful. HDDs didn't secure quite properly and the pci cards were a nightmare to fit in.

I owned the Tsunami Dream. I liked it at 1st but then I grew to HATE it. I hated that the USB ports were on the top. I ended up breaking the flap that covered it. So it had to go. I had one of their PSU's though & it powers my Sister's PC I built for her a couple of years ago.
