perhaps he wants a thermaltake? :p
Why would he want that?
As far as i know its rubbish, buy a zalman. Or even better, get a proper heatsink like a freezer or a ninja or a tuniq. They look good without needing to be painted red, and they work better too. ;)

there cheaper :) plus i have never had any problems with them and there rather quiet as well (my CNPS9500 is louder and performs slightly worse if i remember correctly), so there not all bad

Edit: as well, before i forget, damnit jennifer ellison should be illegal :p

Thats were you are wrong:

Its far from rubbish.

In fact its a great cooler that does the job well that is near enough silent.

The tunig is near enough 40 quid.

The orbs are not.

Suggesting that the orb is not a proper cpu cooler clearly shows your lack of knowledge in this area.

Have you used one?
Installed one?

Mointored cpu temps with one?

If the answers to these questions are no, then I suggest you stop spouting rubbish on these boards.

very well said easy, i use one and i use it though i have CNPS9500 as well, cause the blue orb II performs better :) i replaced the 120mm fan with a difference one from an aerocool turbine :D

For £2 less you could get an ac freezer and i'm confident it would be a better cooler, although i can't find a review comparing the two.

Thermaltake have never made any decent silent fans to my knowledge so i was sceptical about its noise levels, but having had a closer look and after reading a review i don't think they just stuck one of their standard fans on it, and the noise levels look ok.

I'm not convinced its any better than the zalman ones though, the fin design look a lot worse, it has fewer thicker fins.

If it was a lot cheaper then it might be worth having but for that price imo you can get a better cooler for less.

You can't really compare it with other heatsinks if you've replaced the fan.

you could always buy an AC freezer and just buy some cathodes, or even a Zalman 7700Cu

AC freezer is to big for a sugo evo case, and ive used a AC freezer in my main pc and didn't like it
