These winter nights...

...anyone finding them quite depressing?

I missed my train tonight, so needed to wait on the next one(half an hour later). When I came out of the tunnel it was pitch dark :eek:

Couldn't even see out the window. Then I had to walk all the way home(20 min walk) from the train station in the dark....pretty dodgy.

I'm not keen on the summer, with the really warm weather, but at least the days are long!

I love winter, cant wait for it to snow!

I like it when it gets dark early, and its really crisp and chilly outside, but its nice and warm inside!

Oh winter, how I hate thee. I know what you mean about the stations, spent most weekends of last winter waiting around on platforms and being diverted here and there

EDIT: Snow rules though, if only it snowed in summer :cool:

I remember last winter having to wait 45 minutes for buses in the freezing cold and dark in a dodgy area. That was fun.

I think it might be due to the area I come from. Winter means getting mugged/stabbed in the darkness, getting your windows hit with snow balls, drunk people, delayed trains, etc etc.

lack of sunlight does depress many for some reason..

but, I believe it's more about the darkness..

the cold, bleak, unending... dark..ness.

I do like winter, especially getting closer to xmas. Heating bill goes up a fair bit tho coz i dont like to be cold

Do have to say I do like the dark when I'm inside or in a safe place and I like that winter chill thats about.

i LOVE WINTER TOO oops capslock but, hey why not i really do :O

So much prefer it to the stupid melty summers we get now and then.
