BUY NOW!!

the actual text describes all the ports available - wish I had the money I would buy one now, and I know OCUK wont reserve until the end of the month (understandably)

Wish this stock had arrived four weeks later lol

Which versions did you have - A00 or 01, as its quite crucial

Surely you can go direct to Dell?

yes you can go directly to dell, which would have been much better as they have a very good service...

they pick up and deliver.

I want to upgrade from my 3007wfp for some time now, but worried about input lag and back light bleeding on these...

Thats really really great news tbh, They did say they weren't making them any more but clearly they have / are and its a real relief tbh that there's still a product line to back up the 3 year warranty.

Ok , at the time I got my first unit from OCuk (March) , when I contacted Dell to get a replacement they said no problem that will take about 3 MONTHS

I contacted OCuk to see what they could do and explained what dell said , they said return it to us we will get you a new one ( they had 2 left in stock) .
I asked if they could pick the monitor up due to its size / weight and value being so large it will cost me a lot to return it.
OCuk said no its up to me to return it and they will refund any charges if the unit was faulty.

Due to having only 2 in stock I sent it next day guaranteed delivery to ensure I actually got one (they refused to hold one for me)
( dell telling me it would take months to get one tipped me off to the fact that supplies were limited)
Including insurance the charge postage from parcel force was £73.49

OCuk sent me out a new unit , that also had the same backlight bleed issue.
I contacted them told them the new unit had the same fault and asked for a refund , they said to return it for refund.

I returned the unit sent it standard next day via parcel force again at he cost of £66.99 , OCuk refunded the amount for the LCD.

BUT when I sent in the receipts for the postage charges they refused to pay them , they said the charges were excessive. :-(

I tried to explain that I do not own nor run parcel force and I have no control over what they charge.

The best OCuk would offer was to refund 50% of the charges.

Its a pity I used to recommend OCuk to lots of people , but not anymore.

And I am going to have to try and use small claims to get the money back :-(

The units were A01 revisions by the way.
