police can't really do much. alas it's down the the insurance company.

bad luck mate - does that mean you'll be on the 529 from now on? did you see that one that blew up at the depot the other night? sheesh!

hope it gets sorted for you matey
is it local????

Cant believe some1 actually knows my local bus route. Well I hate buses, they generally smell of urine and you usually end up sitting next to a nutter who rocks back and forth whilst dribbling into your lap.

I am going out today to look for a new bike. Biker for the win!

My mother in law was in hospital a few months back (she had 2 weeks to live and was getting the last of her treatments in hospital) - Only to be told be her that someone had stolen some items from her bedside cabinet while she was asleep

That's fairly nebulous.

Not at all and don't try to be clever.

The question was asked, "what do expect the police to do"

I answered, "their job".

How they do it is laid down for them, it is called investigation.

Don't be obnoxious and rude. Clever is something you are, not something you attempt to be.

Dont't be glib.

Now, let's all be happy campers and move to this thread, and my apologies to the OP for derailing this one.

My best wishes to your ma, I hope she feels better.

when i was younger my mum had an MG Meastro (yeah i know but it had a cool built in talking computer :D), she went to visit my uncle at Telford hospital who had been seriously injured.

She came out and the car had gone, they found it 2 days later on some waste ground. Driveable but a write-off anyway! The drivers seat was so far forwards that the tiny policewoman couldnt even get into the car. Theiving bored children!
