Thin blue lines and crashing

Can't see it being anything else really if the machine has been working stable for 2 months. I'd just throw a stress test at the GPU and see what it does, OCCT would stress it the hardest.

If you've got the Z68 Extreme4 then connect to the onboard GPU using the connections on the motherboard.

If the the blue patches go away then it looks like it's the graphics card.

If you have the P67 Extreme4 than you can't do this.

If you just take the 580 out of the PC and turn it on it will default to the on board graphics :)

I did this today with mine as I was fault finding.

If it is in the first year it goes to OCUK and not the manufacturer? I would give OCUK a ring in the morning and see.

I RMA'd a graphics card before and I had a replacement within a few days :) I am hoping that PSU I RMA today comes back as fast :p

take it temps are all ok.

have you tried stripping the system down to the bare minimum, single stick memory, boot drive etc.

any bios changes been made from the defaults.
