thin line in middle of screen??HELP

hi all, iv just returned to my pc to find a thin pink line straight down the middle of the screen!!
iv rebooted, checked i have the latest drivers for gfx card, even rebooted into vista on another partition but its still there!!

what will the cause be??

Could be the graphics card!

If you have a spare cable might be worth trying that first before you go about changing graphics cards or monitors.

Turn it all off and reseat the graphics card.

come down this morning and its gone, didnt have to do a thing!!
