No linking to competitors, cheers.

Live and Dangerous.
For years I've had it on video and then transferred it to DVD.
If you're a rock fan then get this because their other DVD concerts don't come close.
I was lucky to attend two of the concerts on the tour.

Excellent! The album from that is widely considered to be one of the best live albums of all time, ok so they redubbed the rubbish bits in studio but thats not the point :p

I've found it for £4.99. Is this the album you're talking about?

No, the live DVD.
Many years ago it was released on video but now its coming out on DVD.
The audio cd was basically re-recorded in the studio.

What?

Live DVD? When is this out? I was listening to Live and Dangerous the other night, this would be brilliant.

I saw Thin Lizzy once, met Phil after a Grand Slam concert shortly before he died, this is what we need to help keep the memory's alive!

I didn't even know OCUK sold Music DVD's and I go in once a week.
They don't, but the place you linked to may well sell components OcUK does (I didn't see the link, so am guessing at what it was).

Correct, they do sell other goods as well and have been a no-go for a while now.

Title: Thin Lizzy: Live And Dangerous

Woohoo

RIP OFF ALERT

This is not the concert - it is a documentary called Live & Dangerous.
The cover features the live album sleeve and it is very misleading.
The full title is :
Rock Milestones
Thin Lizzy
Live And Dangerous
The Essential Albums Of All Time

I'd like to know what I can do about this?

Its gone back with a printout of the misleading advert on the website.
I realise its not ***** fault but its not mine either.
They have a full advert with a listing of all the songs that featured on the original video.
The documentary shows excerpts from other concerts and at least 6 of the songs are missing from the advertisement.

Shame.

I was looking fwd to this.

Thanks for letting us know Mr Poole.

(edit)

Trading Standards would be my first visit,. That and keep a look at the Lizzy community on this release to see what they say.

This is a review from somewhere else -

If you are a Thin Lizzy fan and particularly if you saw them live on this tour DON'T buy this DVD. This has been not been approved by the band and you can see why. If you are expecting to see a film of a concert this is not it. It is more a critical review by a group of people who constantly interrupt every song featured while they talk about chord changes and whether all the singing/playing was 'live' which wears thin after a very short time. Better still, buy the CD and close your eyes - it will be more authentic!

Mine went back on Saturday morning.

Now it is being released :D -
