Things I hate about Vista

What a simple, concise, easy to use menu . Does typing in wallpaper in the search show what option you need to click to change the wallpaper?
Since its most likely the classic view will only be used by power users, you would expect them to know how to change the wallpaper. :p
The normal view is much more accesible for general users.

That's only obvious from the screenshot above. The first one (displayed in Classic view) is just a complete mess really.

Seems that Microsoft couldn't be bothered to fix the fundamental problem of fragmented control panel applets and instead just decided to put a nice new front page to help the user find what they want.

I know for a fact that Microsoft has a team of about 10 people in the Windows division just dedicated to the Control Panel user experience - what the hell have they been doing for 7 years?

This is one area that Mac OSX beats Windows Vista hands down. Shamefully for Microsoft, it was also one of the easiest to tick off the (very small) list.

Roll on Fiji/Vienna :/

At least the classic view in xp was useable. The other view is just annoying because you have to click on multiple things to get to what you want.

I've always used classic view and it seemed quite obvious to me that to change the wallpaper I would have to go into personalisation
