Things to do in and around Toronto?

There's a theme park just north of the city called Canadas Wonderland which is worth a visit if you like that sort of thing.

If you have a car, definitely do the drive down to Niagara via Niagara on the Lake. There are a lot of wineries on the way, if you're interested I'd recommend one that makes ice wine. There's a drive-in movie theatre in St Catherines, which is about half way between Niagara and the city.

The one food place I'd recommend is Richtree. It's a quirky market restaurant where you use a credit card to buy food cooked fresh in front of you in stalls. You'll probably end up eating a lot of fast food if you go to all of the tourist attractions unless you take something with you. Harveys is ok as far as burger places go, it's like McDonalds and Subway combined.

Really it shouldn't. It's like a rubbish version of Blackpool with a boat that gets you wet.

The falls are interesting to look at, and are definately worth going to... but never stray away from them  It really is a horrendous place!!

I guess you're right, I think I made the mistake of walking around after which has tarnished the memory of the falls themselves which were amazing.

Baseball in the cheap seats above home plate for $7 (I think), try to get tickets to watch Toronto FC, sit in the main stand and have a view of downtown Toronto.

I stayed in Canadiana before we found our house - awesome hostel! :)

Where did you leave near Little Italy? I lived at College and Ossington so was right by it.
I lived on College and Euclid in portugal village, just had to walk straight up my road and you'd hit college. Was just off Dundas and Bathurst where Mcdonalds and Tim Hortons was. I stayed at Canadiana for ages though, awesome place, met some great people there.

Toonie Tuesday you can get in for $2 as well, look out for that. (Baseball)

I know Euclid very well - my housemate worked at the Starbucks on the corner of Euclid and College.

I was at Montrose Ave, up near the Dominion supermarket if you know it? Small world I guess. :)

More on topic, however, I remembered going to the Hockey Hall of fame (it used to be included in the Citypass). Unless you like hockey I'd give it a miss.

Aye I know it, when were you staying there? I was there last summer, I loved Toronto, great city with a lot to do, so many cultures and such. My friend worked in a French restaurant on College.

I echo that, unless you like hockey I wouldn't bother, I like hockey and thought it was OK.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm 75% sure I visited a Cheesecake Museum in Toronto. If I'm not having a brain fart, then try to look that up. Like I said though, I may be wrong but I know it was definitely in Canada. :p

Was it the Cheesecake Factory? I've been in there, quite nice.

Toronto is rubbish in all seriousness.

Go to Montreal (About 3 - 4 hours on the train).

Totally agree, i spend a lot of time in Toronto as my bro and family live there so go there at least 2-3 times a yr. Toronto is ok but Montreal is where its at in all honesty and the french canadian chicks are hot as hell...the nightlife in Montreal is awesome...much better than Toronto imho.

But cant add anything other than CN Tower, Niagara Falls, Canada's Wonderland, bit like Alton Towers but much better imho...go watch a blue jays game ie baseball as basketball and ice hockey seasons are finished.
