Things to do in Berlin

I'mm off to berlin and amsterdam in Nov for a 6 days,amsterdam i know well,but never been to berlin,whats good so see and do,Berlin has a good science museum i heard,bars,great food,typical tourist stuff etc

Holocaust Memorial and Museum, Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie, Hitlers bunker (I lawled when I seen what it is now), Potsdamer Platz (I liked this area as some of the buildings are pretty funky).

Then do the evening bar crawl... you will not survive. Friend and me ended up drinking everyones jaeger as they turned it down... next morning we realised why. These tours are free btw and pretty good! Obviously based off tips at the end, you'll want to give one as the guides are very well informed.

Could head along to the Berlin zoo too (one of the most popular in europe), quite big and can take up half a day or more depending on the weather.

Where are you staying btw? I have a fantastic recommendation for you if you want to give it a try for a few nights (depending on budget).

I stayed here in a studio: http://www.circus-berlin.de/circus_hotel_berlin.html then moved onto the Melia on the river which was very nice. The circus was fantastic though, the staff helped out finding us another place to stay and rang around and sorted it all.
