Things to do in Devon, when you're wet.

Theres RHS Rosemoor thats well worth a visit on a good day, Instow Beach is much nicer than Westward Ho!'s and the watering holes are decent too.

Obviously not much open indoors at the moment for obvious reasons. You're a bit unlucky as I was down there a couple weeks ago it was glorious sunshine for the entire week if rather chilly.

You can pretend you're making the most of it and having a reasonable time despite the weather and lack of indoor venues for the rest of your trip, or just go to home and accept the reality that it's too cold to do anything outside and there's nothing to do inside.

It's hardly too cold (13°C today), but it could definitely be 5 degrees warmer!

We walked the short distance from Bideford to Instowe yesterday in the ******* rain, even the dog had a waterproof coat on. Yesterday looks like it was the absolute wettest/coldest day of our week here.

Got talking to a random lady on the beach who also had a Vizsla and we're joining a Vizsla meetup at Woolacombe on Sunday.

It sounds utterly miserable. Why go away in the ****ing rain when you know everywhere is going to be closed because of the pandemic...

Have you ever been or are you suggesting it because of the Mock the Week / Josh Widdicombe association?
Trago truely is somewhere you only go if you have a damn good reason to go there and not a pleasurable day out in any way!

My in-laws go to Bodmin every year for their holiday and one of the highlights for them is the annual trip to Trago Mills. They come back with all this stuff and marvel at what they got and show it off to us. We have to nod in wonder, and not explain to them how internet shopping works.

Used to go surfing in Woolacombe and have been to Westward Ho a few times, sadly there really is naff all to do except play board games with friends/family till you're sick to death of it. I've gone home early a few times when the weather has been really bad and there is little surf :(

Watersmeet is nice, if you can brace the weather.

We drove 40 minutes down the coast to Bude today and had 6 hours of glorious sunshine.

Just coming away now and it's started raining but had a nice day.
