Hi,

I know there are people from all over the show on the forum and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for things to do down in London?

Im heading down on a stag do on Friday 9th for the weekend. Were all lads in our 20's.

Were planning to go for a few drinks and a meal on the Friday night and a to be honest get absolutely legless on the Saturday evening. What im looking for is suggestions for things we can do during the day on Saturday and rough ideas of cost.

Were stopping around Euston, and looking to head out in the evening around Leicester Square, Picadilly Circus etc.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Russ

the Admiral Duncan in Soho is a nice place to get started on Saturday then see what takes your fancy from there.

There will indeed be a pub crawl followed by a crawl back to our hotel lol.

We plan to keep the daytime on Saturday "relatively" drink free. Just a bit of a boys adventure, something we can have a good laugh doing and make a memorable day for the poor stag who's life will be shortly ended lol.

Seconded. I think there's a bar called Y.A.G or something? That's awesome too, loads of big names play there. In fact anywhere on Old Compton Street is perfect for a bunch of lads on a night out.

Yep been there loads of times with the boys from the Blue Oyster market at Billingsgate, where i used to work. Some real fine examples there, yum yum.

Whatever you do, make sure you get guest list in advance, groups of men will not get into any clubs or even pubs/bars in Central London, there are bouncers on every door.

Isnt Old Compton Street Soho's main gay street? i know i said i wanted the stag to have a night to remember but that's a bit much lol.

Im glad weve picked Euston travel lodge it looks like its only a mile away from soho/Leicester square so should be spitting distance away from a good night. Are there any worth while lively party boat type things to go on?

LAB Bar's prices are cheaper than i expected if im honest. £3.75 for a sol and £7 for a cocktail is pretty much on the money of what i pay on a night out around Stoke.

Go to Ku Bar.
My favourite trash bar.

What's wrong with gay people? Why is it a bit much?

LAB's prices are very reasonable when you consider the cocktails are really very, very good. Do not drink beer if you go there; you are taking up space for people who want to drink the cocktails i.e. the point of the bar.
