Out here at the moment and like a muppet i booked to stay for 3 nights. Done just about everything i wanted to yesterday (Iwo Jima, Reflecting pool thing, Lincoln and the other memorial, White House, Museums on national mall)

Any ideas?

Surely you haven't visited all the Smithsonian. If nothing else, visit the Science & Technology museum.

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington is well worth a visit. The discipline, especially in this weather, is incredible. If you can catch the Changing of the Guards it will be a treat.

What other things are you interested in generally? What mode of transportation do you have?

I went to the Air and Space and National history museum and both were very poor imho and put me off going to others.

Got a car sitting in the lot, and what do you mean this weather i have been in a t-shirt since landing :D

Oh, sorry about the Smithsonian. It was quite impressive last time I was there. Ahh, well.

Weather there is usually about 5 degrees F warmer than it is here, so I expected it would be close to freezing.

So are you looking for touristy things (Pentagon, FBI HQ, NSA), or are you looking for some travel options or night-life?

touristy things really

Will check out those 3 now.

edit- FBI Closed, Pentagon like the White House you have to apply via member of congress. Is NSA the national cryptologic museum, might give that a go
