Things to do near Hull/Beverley

I was very disapointed with The Deep when I went there just after it opened. Very few actual fish tanks compared to a Sea Life Centre, was basically just one very large central tank which wasn't particularly well realistic looking, plastic reefs etc, and the odd small tank here and there.

There is also a place near Beverly called Wetwang. But then again you said it was too early to go there.....

I stayed in Beverley. Can't remember the name of the place, was just in from the city gate, opposite a church. Said church had a clock that chimed all the ****ing way through the night .

Hull is actually as misspelling of Hell. Like Bubo, I've been to The Deep and found it a bit naff.

There's quite a few good museums in Hull, all free (Maritime, East Riding, Street Life and others), and the Ferens art gallery. The Deep's.... okay, I went a week after it opened and it wasn't fully finished, so it might be better now. Hull has some nice places, and some great buildings, but, well, it's Hull, so... :p

Beverley's alright, nice enough to walk around, see the Minster and stuff, but there's not a lot else to do

Don't bother with Brid, it's crap, Scarborough's not that great, can't remember Hornsea.

Hmmm, guess I've not really helped much :p
