name one of the things that you dont mind paying that little bit more for when it comes to a trip to to supermarket

mine is kitchen roll, i cant stand cheap kitchen roll
Bounty all the way :D

Yes, kitchen roll is a good one. Toilet paper I don't give a **** (;)).

Personally I will always pay more for alcohol. Supermarket brands are a no-no.

And tomato ketchup.

Beer (Ale not Lager),

Stock cubes (Kallo Organic),

Veg (from Andy and Jilda in the Market),

Milk (full cream organic, or if I need milk on a Saturday it'll be from the farmer's market),

Coffee (never the cheapest but never the most expensive, at the moment I go for an Organic one I think it's from Peru),

EDIT: Looks at what other's have said;

Brown Sauce, must be HP, must be from a glass bottle, and there must be a spare bottle in the house.

Is it really paying extra for though? You are paying for the extra quality. You would still be bothered about paying more if you still ended up with tesco value kitchen roll.

Bread and Ketchup come to mind...has to be a named bread and HAS to be heinz ketchup...anything else is just wrong

and on a more serious note (and after reading the whole post and noticing you said supermarket...)
Coke - no cheap cola stuff
steak
cereals

Since you started with Supermarket items, I will say:

Hellman's Mayonnaise

Buying any other Mayonnaise is a false economy, as they never taste as good.
