Think my lcd is on its way out?

Hey all,

I've never noticed this before so I'm guessing its bad times ahead - my 22" samsung when scrolling down a page (via holding mouse button down) now leaves a nasty white errr kind of ghost of the text thats scrolling up the page?

Is this a sign of the screen dying or something else?

Have you tried another PC/connection?

If you have then yes, it's a sign that it's on it's way out...

And sorry, I don't usually check these part of the forums ;).
 
Its ok mate, I appreciate the reply. I'm just going to take a guess that its dying. My friends 2253BW doesn't do it.

I was going to post a - What on earth lcd do I buy but I'm not sure its worth the wait ;)
 
I wouldn't have thought that would be a moniter issue per se...

what method of connection do you use..?

What resolution and refresh rate and colour depth...?

What mouse / trail settings have you got enabled...?

What GPU and mouse etc are you using and does the OS recognise the monitor and are clear type enabled etc...?

What, of anything, also happened around the same time you noticed the issue..?

Does it happen with IE or any other browser or when within word etc..?

Some of the above might pertain and others are mindless mumblings, you decide :D
