Ok, so I recently came into some money, B-day yay! :D
and was thinking, at the moment I nearly have the money for my original upgrade why not add an SSD into it as well (128gb) but had a question first.
At the moment I have 2 750gb sea gates in a raid striped array.
If I do purchase the SSD how exactly would I be able to incorporate it into my original HDD setup.
And finally How would you install windows specifically onto the SSD. When installing windows on my current system it shows 1 hard disk 1.5tb (Both drives)
Same thing goes when installing Games on the SSD and say documents/other programs on HDDs.

Not too hot on raid but id plug the ssd in but don't make it part of the array,do new clean install of windows on it and set the ssd as first boot device, leave your hdd/raid as it is and delete what you don't need ect

For installing games/programs select custom when installing and choose your raid drives as destination

clean install windows to the SSD and leave your other HDD's in the RAID.

Make sure you get at least a 128gb SSD then you will have room to install a few games to it as well. Crucial, samsung or intel are the best.w
