Thinking of a contract on 3

How are three when the phone is used abroad, is there good reception?

Never used my 3 phone abroad before, but I would guess 3 are the same as all the other operators and its dependent on the infrastructure in your destination.

Can’t beat their deals either. They also seem to be able to sort out problems instore again which they moved away from doing for a long time.

Hah
All the store does is go through the script with India on your behalf.
Not to mention they advertise loan phones, but have nothing of the sort. (Paying them £35 a month, and they're leaving me out of contact for a week while they try to fix the thing again!)
Phone is in for the second repair for random crashing, I could tell them the cause (Flip is loose), but no, all they seem to do is follow the same script and send it off.

Only decent thing is that I've been told that I'll get a replacement if it comes in for a third time.

Price is good, thats about it.

I've just signed up to 3, went for the 6500 slide and because the missus is on them I got the £15/month and with effectively 2 months free... happy so far

I'm with 3 and got the 1100 mix but mine was at £27 the other month when I "upgraded". Speaking of which they made me pay for three months of it on top of my existing bill despite the fact I was told I would be getting the money back. Phoned 3 and got told they could do nothing.

I used my 3 phone in Ibiza last year and i was getting full 3G signal for most of the holiday. But it was piggy backing off another network. And yes get roaming setup. Takes them 5 mins to set it up.

I've used my 3 phone in about every ex eastern block country in europe and never had any signal problems.

Charges were quite cheap compared to other networks too.
