Thinking of calling your ex for no good reason? Dont. I just did and feel like a fool.

I speak to my ex-girlfriend on the phone every couple of months, and we go out for dinner and drinks every so often. Sometimes it can work... Sometimes it can't. :p

Its funny you say that because in the first 7 months or so after she left...we used to do the same thing. Meet up for meals etc. And then it hit me: I live in a small town and I realized that I WANTED to start appearing *single* (even though I was not ready to date anyone else) so I pulled the plug on public meetups.

Even now I only meet her at her house and refuse to be seen in public with her. Specially since now Im kinda approaching that "Ok Im ready to meet someone" stage and I am getting to meet nice girls (karate class, gym etc).
 
Last thing you should be doing is putting yourself down dude, think "**** it" and move on! Considering a divorce is going through/has gone through it's pretty much a done deal, wash your hands with it and let that **** go :)
 
I say call her back and tell her you want her.....

I can't see how this was ever going to be a good event?

Isn't this the one that you had a pretty bad time getting over?

I was on a roll all these past months. The only time we spoke was when I went over to hers for tea just to chat etc about legal stuff. Tonight I broke my "during-the-week" code of silence and got slapped. Doh!

Yea...you have a sharp memory lol. If I could put a number on it I would say Im 90% over her. I also know you never reach a 100% but 99.9% is fine by me!

Saw her at a nightclub a day or two before, didn't speak to her at the time, but I spoke to her boyfriend (used to know him quite well, but he isn't in contact with us that much any more, unlike his twin).

I just replied and stayed polite, keeping the conversation going a little but not much beyond small talk.
But boy has she put on weight since when I was with her :p

Lol! Good you stayed polite though - its what I always do. Last thing you want is to let them see you wound up and flapping. That would hand them a win on a plate.

Ye I know..I cant wait to delete it as well! Thing is we are divorcing and theres times when I need to get in touch...paperwork crap and such. But when its all over you better beleive her numbers gettin nuked and to top it all off I shall get the most badass Android smartfone that 2012 will come out with to celebrate!
 
You don't sound old enough to be married, never mind having been married and now going through a divorce. :p
