Thinking of changing the C30 - z4 Coupe Vs 350z

The Sat Nav is rubbish in them, but nice to have a flip up display showing radio and mpg information.

Not a bad price for a 09, probably due to the mileage.

Yeah, having driven 2 with the nav in it isn't that great and its not something on my wish/deal breaking list. The flip up screen is cool though :p. For an 09 it is a good price as they are normally around £20k from a dealer.

I went the see the one at Norwich this weekend and it turned out to be a very very nice car. We agreed a price and I'm picking it up next Tuesday. I can't wait.

I'll post some better pictures up when I get it :D

Excellent car.

How did the negotiations go? Did you get much of a discount? I'm really keen to know what sort of money people are able to get off AUC's right now.

The negotiations went well. The salesman didn't try and feed me all the usual BS which was nice. The other week the car had been up for £21k however they had reduced it down to £18k to co-inside with a promotional event they were having on that weekend (Read into that what you will). Basically I think they just hadn't been able to shift it. The final price I got it for was £17.5k which I think is a good deal for a 09 quite high spec Z4 from a BMW dealer. Most 09's are around the £20k mark asking price.

That seems very good - assuming it's a circa 27k miles Z4 3.0Si SE Coupe with Prof Nav, it should retail at £21075 so the original price wasn't exactly overpriced. You've picked it up at £1k under trade book!

Very encouraging indeed. Nicely done :) Thanks for sharing the details of your deal. Even if it hasn't got Nav on a Z4 it wont knock £3k off the value so you've still done well.

Its done 34k miles and doesn't have the nav (otherwise a full spc I believe) but even so I think the deal was quite good :D.

The salesman did say that most dealerships operate differently as they are all franchises. Some will keep a car at its advertised price no matter how long they have had it others will move the price up and down over time. Others will move the car around the garages in the group and change the price at each of them. I guess it can be luck of the draw in some cases.

Either way going by my figures you should be able to get around 15% off

£17.5k for a 09 is very good price indeed from an AUC. Watch out for the 108 alloys, they are known to corrode badly. Mine looked a right mess after 2 years and refubs are difficult to get right as they split rims.

from what others have said the Nav on the Z4 isn't as good as the idrive in the 3 series etc.. so you're not missing much.
