I've been planning for a while to change from xbox gaming to pc;)
just need a bit of advice on what sort of spec pc I would require. i want to play games like black ops, far cry battlefield etc.

Just not sure what on spec i have been looking at the itx but don't no if atx would be better for if i need multiple graphics cards.

any help would be great

thanks tom

one good card is equal to 2 slow ones, so one is fine

whats your budget?

do you need everything like a kb/mouse monitor and o/s?

and can you build it, or want it doing for you pre built etc?

Mini-ITX will be more costly and it can be difficult fitting some GPU's (length and height) as well as aftermarket coolers.

For a normal ATX build (dont forget M-ATX) whats your budget and is it the tower alone?

Here is something that will be able to play those games:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £179.99
1 x Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 7850 OC Windforce 2X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card w/ FARCRY3, Sleeping Dogs & Dirt Showdown PC Games £155.99
1 x Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £89.99
1 x Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST2000DM001) £64.99
1 x Corsair Builder Series CX 500w Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply (CP-9020059-UK) £49.99
1 x BitFenix Shinobi USB3.0 Gaming Case - Black £46.98
1 x Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX) £35.99
1 x Samsung SH-224BB/BEBE 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £17.99
Total : £656.90 (includes shipping : £12.50).

Can do with adjusting, for example you could do with a better psu and you will need a better graphics card to play in ultra, other wise the one I have given you will be able to play most games in mid-high settings comfortably.

If going prebuilt this would be a better/cheaper option

hi its just tower its self got. got windows 7 os, got ssd drive and hard drive.
is the intel processor best to have?
got about 600 to spend.
i have been looking at the prodigy case which i like.

what cooler would be best to run in the prodigy case. think i am swaying to the prodigy case.
i have got a blue ray drive to stick in.

Using a Prodidgy case will eventually prove to be more expensive, as the mITX boards cost more than standard ATX ones. There is roughly £30 in it, although if you like the look of it then why not? :)

I think a lot of people use the corsair h series watercoolers in the prodigy. The radiators mount well in the roof

are these processors AMD A10-5800K any good for gaming. that's what i was looking at first so that i would have more for a gpu
