Hi,

I'm considering a bit of retraining and taking a course to give me a qualification in technology.

I have an honours degree in Languages for Business and now work in insurance(!) but want get more involved in tech as that's what I enjoy doing and using and, like many on here, just know loads about all things computer, phone, photography, AV etc.

I'm annoyingly vague with exactly what I want to be doing but looking for some advice as to where to start looking for some training courses. Something with a recognised qualification would be better but as I'm can only really do a shorter course that may be harder to find.
I've got no knowledge of programming/code and don't think I could go down that route. Nor straight IT things like networking etc.

I'm also wondering what areas and skills are desirable now and in the future.

I well aware a small course won't mean much and won't get me a decet job but I want to do something to move my career in some kind of direction that I want.

So, any hints or knowledge would be very appreciated

Thank you. From a very brief look at that it's very much what I could do with having.

Plus self study is a good idea to, I meant to say that I'd be very willing to take that route. I'll spend some time reading up on CompTIA properly.

It looks like it's a gateway into all things computers. How long would it take if studied at a normal pace? Also, it looks like I'm moving to Australia when my girlfriend has to return next year so this looks like a global qualification?
