Thinking of iPhone 4. A few questions

What's funny Margaret, is that you state Android is better in terms of software than the iPhone, which is ironically the one area it generally falls behind.

A less polished experience with a far worse app store does not a better software experience make! The only reason the SGS2 has closed the gap right up to the iPhone is it's hardware specifications.

Admittedly one of the iPhone's main advantages is it's battery life, which is also an area where the 'Droid phones have closed the gap, but i'd still consider the iP4 to be one of the class leaders in this regard too.

Margaret is getting dangerously close to becoming part of my ignore list. I own android and apple gear and to be honest some of the advice you giving to potential buyers of XXXXX is to be honest pretty scary!

Well the thing is that if you don't want to read this drivel it's simple - you don't go in the Android forum further down the main page.

Margaret seems determined to bring his own flavour of crap right to the Apple forums' doorstep though.

At least this time he replied mind, rather than the "post and run" strategy he normally settles for.

I could happily accept that the SGS2 is the iP4's equal (and in some ways, it's superior), but to claim that some of the phones he mentions are better is just utter crap at it's worst.

Phandroid? I go where the best is, I do not have fanboy obsessions with products or brands.

What do you mean the Galaxy S II is the only handset that beats the iPhone 4? PLENTY of phones are superior hardware wise to the iPhone 4 and have been for a while.

This is not about hardware. Software is where the iPhone is falling short, hardware isn't the problem with it.

I'm sorry my valid opinion hurt you so much. But hey I had my iPhone for 19 months so I'll give my honest opinion on the state of them if I want to.

Hardly hurt me fella...if anything it just made me laugh as your pretty delusional in your opinions about Android and IOS. As i said the Galaxy S2 is about the only android handset that can give the iphone4 a proper run for its money...hell even your fellow phandroids will admit that too. And i was talking about hardware..software wise yes Android is probabaly better as its open rather than closed but then as Tute said above, the Android experience is a bit of a marmite affair...well it was for me and still is as ive played with the Galaxy S2...nice hardware but still not impressed by the software and the frankly rubbish app store they have at the moment.

Anyhow i suggest you really really stop coming in here and trashing iphone threads...this isnt the place for that as if you havent already noticed, its an apple forum...you Phandroids have your own little forum, the mobile phone forum;).
