System as per Sig currently cooled cool a H110i. CPU is delidded as with the AIO sees low 70's in Prime (custom 1344 avx) and mid to high 60`s in Realbench. Gaming, not seen it go about 45°. 1080 to is currently cooled by a EVGA Hybrid kit and when pushed will see 45 - 50° depending on room temp.

I have a full custom loop itch that is getting harder to ignore, so...

Do I go custom for CPU (maybe a mono block) and GPU? I do not plan on changing this setup for around a year or so.

Your thoughts please guys??

If I go full loop, I like the look of EK kit but I'm not sure if to buy a kit and then add the GPU block or buy individual components. Again, advice he too guys okease?

Thanks.

I recently done the same thing, had the CPU under an AIO and the GPU was a hybrid system (Gigabyte) but decided on a full on custom loop.

I bought the XSPC 360mm D5 kit for approx £260, only needed to add fluid & the GPU block, though I managed to snag the last EVGA GTX 1080 Hydro Copper in stock that I could find which comes with a full block anyway.

The kit is great, makes it a lot easier than stressing over what to buy, though beware of hidden extras that you 'might' need like 45/90° angle fittings, tube cutters, fill bottles or more rads (may just be me but I bought an extra 2x 240mm rads as my case could take it) :D

Granted some of these you can improvise on but I'm a stickler for getting things done right the first time :)

Anything else, just ask :)

So worth doing? Or should I wait for the AIO's to break?

Seen the XSPC kit too but not at that price!

My thinking is, both AIO's are under a year old, so I could sell them on to cover part of the costs.

I hate Tech at times, makes you want to spend money :)

Alphacool Eisbaer is an AIO and not CLC like your Corsair . QDC to expand the loop .

Or another good shout is EK gaming (aluminium series ) and will out perform CLC units and look pretty cool . Believe they also have a modular system back in play again .

The kit I bought was cheaper than buying separately and it has the better components that I wanted, but if price is an issue then as Orbital says above, EK do the Aluminium series for less and it's apparently quite good, but you'll have to be careful to get Aluminium parts otherwise mixing metals isn't good for water cooling :)

Seen the EK Ali stuff and it does seem reasonable. The only problem is, if I went for that I'd have it then want a Cooper setup.

Thanks for all your input guys.
