............Sen 650's ?

£265 does seem steep but im sure they will pay off with the many years i will be using them for.

They will be driven by an Asus xonar essence.

What I suppose im asking you lot is what else should i be considering? In this price/performance cat.

I don't mind the performance in gaming as most of my attention is going at the screen.

I didn't fancy the AKG's as i don't like jumping camp after my love for the 595's and i feel the same way to the Denon's.
Apparantly the D2000's are faster and have better bass.
Would you say they would be better for drum n bass music?

HD650=£265 + Matrix M-Stage=£170

Total = £435

For that kind of money there has to be an easier driven headphone that would stomp the HD650?

I haven't bought the HD650's yet as i dont have the funds.
( should do at the end of the month )

Can anybody recommend any other headphones, i know someone said the Denon D2000's were good.

Im starting to lean towards those Denon D2000 as i do mainly listen to electronic music.

edit: But.. I dont need closed cans and the open cans are normally the preferred choice in a quiet environment right?

Ok ive had a search around for some op-amps for the Essence.

And gawd dam its a minefield!

LME49860 or LME49990 ?

I think my main problem is which version of them do i go for?

Theres a LME???MA or LME???NA or LME????MAX, anyone know the differences? XD

Well if anyone wants to know... the NA is the one to get as the MA needs an adaptor not sure what the MAX is about though.

Im just about to get the LME49860NA, cant seem to find a LME49990NA only the MA and MAX
