Thinking of Upgrading my system - Any Suggestions

Hi Guys,

I've had my system 18 months now and although it has served me well I was wondering what minor upgrades I could make to improve things for the next 18 months without buring a hole in my pocket.

As you can see in my sig the system is well specced and runs most games however I would like to get better framerates on my 24" widescreen and quicker response times in general. The system still uses XP as I have no need to upgrade to Vista at this stage and is powered by a 600W Corsair PSU.

See about getting one of the new ATI cards, they would run better than your current one and provide you with a few more fps

Another 2GB RAM, do some overclocking and consider an ATi 4870. The 4850 is a fair whack less but at 1920x1200 you'll really want the 4870 so you can make use of AA and it would last longer.

Vista 64, another 2GB RAM and a 4870. Although this may be more than you were planning to spend..
