I have this currently

i5 2500K 3.30Ghz
Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Intel Z68 Motherboard
Team Group 16GB 2133Mhz
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 6144MB
Hazro 27" monitor
OS is on a 128GD SDD and everything else on a 1.5TB HDD.

I'm having persistent issues with my PC. It lasts about 2 months then starts to play up. Starts doing odd random things and quickly degenerates to the point where I have to re-install Windows and then it's fine.

I've been thinking it might be the SSD so will likely change it and see what happens.

I've also bought a WD Black 4TB drive and I can't get it to work even though I've done all I'm supposed to in order to get the drive to work with the board.

All in all I'm fed up with the thing and want to get shot of what, in my mind anyway, is causing me grief - namely the SSD and mobo.

So, I'm ideally looking to change the SSD and change the Mobo/CPU combo. Would prefer to keep the RAM and the GPU to keep the cost of changing down. PC is mostly gaming and some photo/video editing. Not really interested in OC'ing etc.

the ram ddr 3 or 4

my last upgrade was from fx-9370

to a 8pack i7 7700k elite tier

this combo consisted of mob cpu ram and aio

but ocuk can alter bundles on the fone with price changes I removed the aio and changed the ram to team group

but coffee lake is a good upgrade now.

is it for gaming?

I'll be changing the CPU and mobo but not sure which to suit the 1060. No point going wild if the gpu bottlenecks the system. RAM is DDR3
