If you had bought a 360 and played these games then you would be able to give an opinion about them. You've made it pretty clear that you don't like the 360 and think that having 1 driving game running at 60fps will make it the best console in the world.

There are other types of games out there you know!

I take it you have your 360 in a cool, open area, as well as the power brick, not stacked away somewhere or in a cupboard?

He has a point though, there are very few 360 games that are killer Apps. PGR3, it's quite repetitive and dull, but I still play it as it's still enjoyable. And sure, not everybody agrees with the whole 60fps issue, but some games can't even hold a steady 30fps. I saw my brother playing the saints row demo and I thought it ran shockinly. Hopefully we'll get some better framerates out of later games.

Dead rising is really the only more original game that I find enjoyable enough to warrant having a 360, along with Table Tennis.

I have to be honest, I have COD2, GRAW and BF2:MC, I've played 10 minutes of COD, 1 minute of GRAW and not even stuck BF2:MC into my drive, but they all came with my 360, which was a good deal, and I don't want to sell them as I'd like to get round to playing them all soon.

The saints row demo was from an early build, the game runs much better but still not perfect.I do agree that most games have a framerate problem but out of the games i own, only Moto-gp has bothered me.

TDU and Oblivion are the best games i've played so far on my 360,they are massive. But thats not to say all the others are bad.

Oblivion is a AAA killer app if you ask me! that and PGR3 made me go out and splash the cash on a premium pack.

and don't say it's also out on PC, how many people have one capable of playing it properly?

Seven day wonders? Even PGR3 and Oblivion? PGR3 has so much to do and an online element that is top notch. As for Oblivion, that game would last you months.

If you don't like them, thats okay. Sometimes people are too quick to blame the console for its games, rather than themselves for being super fussy.

Lol. I'm always confused as to when a game can be called a 'killer app'; but imo Dead Rising is one of the best games I've played.

All I can say is I had an XBox and had been PC gamer for a long long time and I'm having a blast. I really enjoyed those games I listed, as much, if not more, than when I say played KOTOR, Halo, PGR2 etc. on my XBox or Morrowind, Half Life 2, Eve on my PC.

I agree that achivements and the 360 community (you see your mates playing the 'new game') promotes a 'get on launch day, play fervently, move on to next best thing' mentality that may show itself as a '7 day wonder' cycle but this doesn't mean the games themselves are designed fundamentally differently.

So I was on my third 360 and it’s just died on TDU. Five consecutive crashes all with screen corruption, then it happened - 3 lights of death! :( Well to say the least my overall 360 experience appears to a jinxed relationship!

I am on my 5th :p and it's looking good

Heh, yeah my 4th is with me now! I hope this one lasts more than the previous 360 - 3 weeks! :(

Lol, I swear some of you have a different console to me ;)

What's wrong with Dead Rising, PGR3, Burnout: Revenge, Oblivion, Saints Row, COD2, GRAW, Hitman: Bloodmoney, and even Chromehounds, Prey, Kameo, Condemned, Fight Night, Table Tennis, TDU to name a few.

Dead rising: demo was fun for a while, lost interest after a few hours.
PGR3: I have it but rarely play it, never got into it like PGR2.
Burnout: Revenge: I feel the game is just burnout 3 which I had a while ago, waiting for burnout to change before I get it again.
Oblivion: I don't like RPGs
Saints Row: Played the demo, never impressed me.
COD2: Had it but got traded, was good, but not that killer app I'm waiting for.
GRAW: Had it, but it never really impressed me.
Hitman: Never really been into Hitman.
Chromohounds: Never played this one.
Prey: Had it, failed to grip me.
Kameo: Had it, again failed to grip me.
Condemned: Played the demo, thought it was good but not good enough to warrant purchase.
Fight Night: I have this, fun to play with mates, no so much when you on your own.
Table Tennis: Played the demo, didn't impress me.
TDU: Downloading the demo at the moment. :p

So in conclusion there have been a few good games just nothing great in my opinion.

lol , post like that are great, why do you even own a 360 then?, surely you the type of gamer that probably is worth you waiting for that "killer game" before laying down your cash. Every title on that list i've loved and even more so on LIVE witht he games that are LIVE enabled such as Burnout and PGR3

I don't normally agree with you but in this case i do. It happens all the time on here. Dead Rising is the current 7 day wonder til either the last achievements are too tough or the next game comes along.

Almost ever game on here gets blown up then dies a fast death, like Table tennis or topspin or even hitman.

So desperate are people to claim the next big thing they look past the obvious poor controls in DR and the total con that makes you replay the game over and over to add depth ;)

I mean they couldve made king kong have levels where you could only do 25% ever pass through, then made you keep repeating til you got everything :D

I only think the 360 has had two or three good titles.

I think it has had many good titles and two or three great titles.Very good for such a young console.

Its a year old now, lets not lose sight of that fact, this is when we should be starting to see some great games. Devs will have had, what, 2 years to develop games now? There really should be killer games coming along, but the main one on my list is gears, other than that i am a bit meh. Forza 2 possibly, but i didn't love Forza tbh. There are titles i will buy, like the godfather cos i enjoyed it on the PS2 and will be getting it on 360 and PSP.
Also argueably most people think the best game on the xbox was actually a launch title.

I have never played a game quite like Dead Rising, I think it will be a trend setter for games to come.

I hope not, all they did was make it impossible to finish a small game on the first pass, forcing you to replay. Personally I found that irritating. The rest of the combats fun , the gun stuff which you need to beet the hard bosses is a complete chore. Zombie smashing got old fast too.

I'm not saying people shouldn't enjoy it but no one will be playing it in a fortnight so I dont think it's the classic everyone is blowing it up to be.

The story is great the character models too, but the gameplays pretty flawed imho.

I'm still waiting for some games to top the launch titles.
