Third monitor and display port

Hi, i have 1 radeon 6950 and a https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-034-BQ at the moment, i was going to get another one for a second monitor however i want to have three monitors is this possible on a single radeon 6950, I only want to play games on one of the screens which i do fine with 2 monitors the other being an old rubbish one, so my questions are
1) can i run three monitors as long as one of them is display port fine on a single 6950
2) Can you suggest me a good monitor with a display port preferably 24inch or above for around 100-200 pounds.

Yes you can. a 6950 can run three monitors just as fine as long as one is hooked up to the displayport. The excellent Dell u2412m comes with a displayport although it's slightly outside of your budget.

A much cheaper option is to just get a active displayport to dvi converter and buy whatever monitor has your interest.

The only way I could get 3 monitors working with my 6950 was to use 2 DisplayPort connections. The single link dvi, hdmi and displayports are linked. It appears that you can only use 1 of each at the same time.
