This a good first car?

ask him if he's tried to get it mot'd and if so can you see the failure certificate.
to be extra sure you can look online and i believe you can see the failure certificate and advisories if he's tried to get it mot'd. you need his cooperation though cos he has to tell you the v5 number.

According to Parkers it'll do 0-60 in 14.4 and top out at 102. I'm not a fan of Corsa's to be fair, quite common and chav like not to mention ugly as sin.

Some friends and I timed a couple of cars to 60 including an old 1.4 306 and it was nearer around 12.5 seconds ;)

As for the car in the OP, nah I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. Crap, knackered old heap probably. If you're that skint, get an old Fiesta. At least it won't break.

I dont understand how if your going to sell your car, you take all the photos out of focus, i mean all cameras have auto focus on them, yet not one of his pics are in focus, probably taken on a mobile.

As the others have stated, as its got no MOT avoid it, you maybe lucky and it goes through MOT no problem, but then you could end up spending £300 to get it through.
If he did get the MOT done he could easily ask for another £200 on the value of the car
