This all work together?

Hi guys,

Considering the below Motherboard and CPU for a new build, I need a mobo with the most possible sata ports, if any others have more for this chipset could you guys let me know please.( I know the 3900x is available and the i9 9900k which I am not interested in whatsoever. Also the 3950x soon.

Are these new parts compatible with the rest of my rig if I reuse the below (sig) apart from the 5960x & mobo ofcourse.Have been building computers for 20 years, however I don't have any experience yet for TR4, also will there be a cpu on ocuk soon with more cores that the 2990wx?

In 3 weeks time the new Threadripper will come out, I would strongly advice you to wait for the new motherboards & CPUs, instead of spending over £2000 now for outdated tech.

Yep it worth the wait given what we see already with the server parts. Even the 24 core would be faster than the 2990WX. So you will save money, enough to replace SATA drives with several NVME in raid
