Not really to sure myself in terms of graphic quality and overall performance what's best so thought I'd ask how this PC would compare to the new gen consoles.

PC Build -

-GameMax Expedition Mid Tower Gaming Case
-Adata SU630 480GB 2.5" SATA SSD
- Tecware Orbis F1 Starter Kit, 3x 120mm PWM ARGB Fans, Hub, Remote
- ASUS TUF Gaming B450M-Plus II AMD Motherboard
-EVGA 600 GD 600W 80+ Gold PSU
- Be Quiet Pure Rock Slim 2 Air Tower CPU Cooler
- Crucial Ballistix 8GB (2x 8GB) 3200MHz DDR4 RAM
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 3.9GHz 6 Core (Socket AM4) CPU
- NVIDIA Geforce 3070 Ti Founders Edition GPU

How close (or far off) would this spec be in comparison to the next gen consoles, specifically the disc version of the PS5 on a 4K monitor.

Cheers,
Steve.

I have no idea of the comparison between that build and a console but there are some strange component choices there. Why use a Ryzen 5600G with it's own powerful graphics when there is a 3070ti in the build? Why a older B450 chipset motherboard when B550 is a better choice? A single stick of 8Gb memory isn't enough either and should be increased to a pair of them for 16Gb. The case is a poor choice with no ventilation in the front or base. Is this something that a retailer is offering as it seems to be a bundle of cheap stuff with some odds and ends they have lying around? How much for that lot, considerably more than a console I suspect.

8GB single channel RAM will cripple the whole thing and i would get a 5600X cpu instead

if you sort those 2 things out then it will be better than consoles

Is it powerful? I couldn't run most games with it other than in extremely low detail. I got the 3070ti by complete chance being in stock and within my budget.

The 1x8gb ram is a typo, apologies it's 2x8gb, 16gb total.

How could I find out it's performance/graphical quality compared to the new gen consoles?

Yes something is wrong, have you downloaded gefore experience and downloaded all the latest updates and drivers and installed them.

I was referring to using the 5600g prior to buying the 3070ti card. I bought it because the graphics performance from the Ryzen 5600g was poor.

That's normal. The 5600G while it does have a fantastic onboard gpu that is miles better than anything Intel offers with it's onboard gpu's it still can't compete with a proper gpu. It will be fine for 720p gaming but who in their right mind games at such a low res anymore. At 1080p it will struggle at anything more than low details unless it's a really old game. We still have some way to go before we have a solid 1080p gaming APU. Things may change with the next generation when they will have greater memory bandwidth from DDR5 but until then the discrete gpu is the best way to game, albeit very expensive right now.
