My mate has given me some DDR2 ram (4gig):

Corsair Twin2x4096-6400C4DHX G

Is it good stuff?

You'll not notice much difference between 800MHz and 1066MHz tbh PC2-6400 is fine

i have to dissagree. you cant play far cry 2 on high dx 10 settings on 800 mhz without it jerking every few seconds.

lol your ram is good mate. you could sell it on ebay for quite a bit as well, if ur that kind of guy

Not sure whats up with your pc mate, but when I had the same spec ram it wasnt an issue.

Its good stuff, have a look at this review here.

Its from a great company and has some of the best heatsinks about. Also, those lads at overclock3d got it up to 1149MHz @CL5, so i'd say spending actual money for PC2-8500 stuff is not the best plan.

I'm not sure what you are seeing but, DDR800 vs 1066 will make no difference in this case. If you are seeing issues like this, there is some issue other than memory frequency.
