When Newton was appointed by Elizabeth I to defend the merit and value of work as Master of the Mint, the first priority was prevention of forgery. To which end Isaac formed the twin arrows of Inspiration and Aspiration in repeating series for all faces to know. Tho to all who observed, all that stood proud were a series of woven swirls awoven. It took a 9 yo child (in 1973), autistic and traumatised, to rediscover Newton's arrow.

Now as the child grew he drew the arrow many times, inferring its proper relations. Importantly, he found it the key to the meaning and value of many other symbols that had long defied many in the field of signs and symbols - called semiotics.

And this was because Newton's arrow was found to symbolise many useful and practical things despite its apparent simplicity. Central to all its meanings was: lifting, intelligence, light, adaptation, and the will of Man. Its practical nature provides the means to measure all that it signifies, for this reason the boy called it Newton's Areus, the Arrow of Light and Intelligence.

is it a legal requirement for your bank to know your employment status? mine asks me every time I log in to confirm some details. I'm always no thanks, skipping giving you info unless it has became a legal requirement

@Worthy She's green screening :( I got some isopronal alcohol to clean her up, it's very bad inside. I'm hoping the battery has been removed because god only knows what damage occurs if that's leaked. May just be a problem with the Gary or paths near.

Noooo! Did you get a chance to have a proper look at it?

At the age of 32, I may be able to get my first 'job offer'. I have never gone through a full interview process before...was at a company for 10 years, current role was a chat on the phone and in as a temp and then the latest one was a 25m chat and preparing to offer me a perm role.

Quite excited. :o

Knackered after work as I had a typical Monday plus planning for a 3 day trip on Wednesday to set up our new lab. Definitely earned a little armchair nap.

Good news! Which role is it? I remember you were looking at changing your environment (or not) recently :)

So I got a diamond tile cutting blade for my deemed and its the best thing ever for working with glass watercooling tubes. Managed to get all my tubes finished today and the loop filled and leake tested for a good 5ish hours.

Hooked an old monitor up to the PC and decided to sort out some software. Found I couldn't boot windows at all for some reason.
Made an installation USB and couldn't repair windows on the drive I had it on so decided to freshly install it. Wouldn't let me install on pretty much any drive. Eventually managed to wipe the partition on my old SATA SSD and install there but in the process I accidentally wiped the partition I previously had it on.
There goes all my software and settings. Now I have to re-do everything from the beginning

@Frubeling that sounds traumatic.

I had a brutal reminder of heart health needs today when after 4-5 days of increasing chest-pain frequency i had 20 or so in 20 minutes. I just got home in time to get an asprin. Problem went away 45 min later. A victory.

Onward and upward.

*up. Well-roundedness is a near-universal quality, as evident by finding merit in life and living. Thus today i was moved to write some finish to an introduction to intersolar-system life.

Thus a local quantum is near leapt.

Did [FnG]Magnolia disappear off the planet?

I've got a spare triface metal obelisk he might like.

Other than that, the arrow is the key of all stars, trees, winds, and wheels. Which i'm pleased to say is the end of an old mans lament.

He's still on here posting his usual (often amusing) giberish. You just can't tag him as a user because of the "[" in his username.

Ah. Cheers. I wasn't sure if he'd been consumed by Covid or some new NZ volcano disaster. Mainly because I saw no threads started with his name under them.

Stop lying.

Said the tree frog. But, as things go in the wash in the Bush, so the deal was done - in the Neverland of my dream (glory of your sun).

And as your Big Mighty says a judges day is done, O' down came his judgement - and this is how it runs...

The sky is full of lightning
But the clouds have no boom-boom
At 11.25 in the Antipodes
Where day is now the nightning
Where Smucci and Smucci, dolphins humped
Gambol around their room

Just had some of 3 different pizzas for dinner with my daughters and bfs. A social kind of meal for a change + ciders. It made a pleasant change from earlier today, one of those rare interrupted kind, so i call today Dud Wednesday. And good ****** riddance to it.
