No, i lucked out. I left it till later in the day (on Friday AEST) and when I went to go I discovered my car battery had gone flat. Id left lights on. So I hooked up a battery-charger and have put off getting my failing right eye checked till Monday morning.

Frustrating, but I wasn't expecting a flat battery.

Another hot 31degrees C today. I cant wait for cooler weather.

I accepted a visitor today, the first since 2015. How easy it is to forget it can be enjoyable.

I was sent my new contract and they had spelt my first name wrong and had the start date incorrect. :o

Felt awkward having to reply (twice) and ask them to update it but still...only way is up. :eek:

It still happens to me every time I’m included as a contact on job advertisements. I’ve given up contacting HR.

Good to know this does happen...mentioned above this is all very new to me! Start date on the 22nd! 2 new jobs in less than 6 months compared to being in the same team for 10 years in one business. Quite the change but exciting.

Shot answer it is sideways BUT to a business that only has 10 people in total so they have earmarked me to bring in the experience and 'lead the way' which is exciting. :)

It is 3k more than my current role though...and perm!

I just found out a little life hack that will for ever change my rooms. If you ever want your sheets/curtains to smell like you just washed and dried them then put some Lenor in some warm water (in a spray bottle) and spray onto fabric.

My room now smells like everything has just been cleaned lol

That doesn't solve it straight away though if shops are closed. :p

For sure! I have opened systems up and sometimes had that 'fabreze' smell
