Randomly started last night. 11pm for her, 2am for me and only in the past hour are we feeling better. Having a 20 month old
Boy doesn’t help! The cramps…

The dehydration headache and not being able to take anything to help with the pain was horrific. The smallest sip of water would start it off all over again.

I'm still struggling with what was probably COVID 3 weeks later. This week has been a bit of a resurgence and high stress at work has resulted in very little tolerance for those not performing.

1 hr connection at Paris CDG…was doubting I would ever make that, but when my first flight was delayed by 45mins…I had no chance…spent an hour looking for my airport hotel provided by the airline…now in bed for 3hrs before I have to get up again for the first flight home.

What an inconvenience.

Count me with one of those who hate CDG…I am back again here after 5hrs…

Things I hate and don’t understand…

1 - As you enter the airport, after self check in, the sign you look for usually says “immigration” or “passport control”…not “Boarding”. The plane isn’t there…boarding?! It took me a minute to realise Boarding means immigration!!!!

2 - Next at customs…only has 1 scanner working as they open at 5am…and all the airport employees also have to scan in their ID and finger print to enter…but where do they do that ID tag scanning and their fingerprints scanning? Right at the place where all the passengers are opening their bags to get out their laptops and liquids…not only that, they share the same scanner to walk through…and of course, they cut the queue ahead of everyone.

I was like 10th in the queue at 5am and it took me 30mins to get through. A joke.

3 - The €15 euro voucher the airline gave me to spend on restaurants at the airport…doesn’t work in Starbucks…and what is the only thing open at 6am? Starbucks.

I wonder how this country ever get anything done?!

This despite the illogical sign (I even took a video of this sign pointing “up”, and the only thing “up” where it is pointing to is a glass wall” and all the idiots airport staff who doesn’t know their way round their own airport last night and everyone I asked gave me the wrong direction.

/rant over

County Council contractors have finally repainted the double yellow lines around the entrance to my road. Hopefully cars and vans don’t park right by the junction now.

It was very difficult to get out of my road when idiots parked there. Anyway you should park a good 10m from junctions.

Plus the lazy ***** who parked on the DYLs as it’s right by her front door will park in her allocated parking bay at the rear of her home.
Still a few drivers ignoring them

Good morning

Drunk and ate too much during my early Xmas in Oxfordshire so doing my 12 mile return to Rough tor plus scale Rough tor.
Maybe I should take up running but everyone tells me it kills your joints, I enjoy my hikes but would like to cover some more distance, maybe pack a tent and start the wild camping lark

In theory, you should not bring it inside for too long (internet search reveals anywhere from a few days up to 10 days) since the tree has climatised to winter by now, it's functions inside the tree has adapted to the cold so suddenly going into a warm room will trigger growth as it does in spring time, and then taking it back out again after just confuse it, which can kill it if you are not careful.

Yeah it's only indoors until 23rd. We go away until new years to see family so it doesn't get too stressed. Then I keep it by the house when it goes out so it's got some gradient. Ideally it doesn't go out when it's like 0c either

We had a tiny tree in a pot back in 2007. just shoved it in a hole in the garden in Jan and it didn't die. Now it's about 12 feet tall and i'm beginning to wish I put it in a better place :)

When finally decide on a longer term housing situation I'll plant it in the garden.

But even though this house is owned not rented I don't plan to stay here long.

Mine lives in a pot outside the living room I've doubled the pot size twice so I reckon it will be planted next, my living room tends to be 12c to 15c so it will probably be asking me to go back outside
