Other half got me one of the Call of Duty games as a stocking filler for xmas.. I bought the PS4 on sale years ago but barely touched it.

Decided to give it a whirl, see what FPS’s are like these days.. Almost 6 hours into system/game updates, the end is in sight but I’ve lost the will.

Finally got all the updates installed, game play looks amazing. Went to play it online and got hit with a ‘you require a subscription for this’. I feel so out of touch, back in the day, you could just fire a game up, select a server and jump in

Can't remember the last time I saw someone on roller skates...

I remember in the 90s they were huge, bauer or whatever the brand was.

Newcastle's cancelled the midnight fireworks because of 15mph winds and 35mph gusts.. totally normal every day weather....

Severe weather apparently...

it's not like the 90+ mph gusts we sometimes get, people are so soft these days its ridiculous.

oddly a massife amount of fireworks all went off a 11 days ago, from the spot the NYE fireworks were supposed to launch.,

I reckon the council blew them all up my accident and don't want to pay twice so just cancelled it.

That's clearly not a test right.... they accidentally launched them all and now just want to cover it up.

Ever since the incident on the M5 near Taunton a few years back councils have got very twitchy when it comes to fireworks and weather.
