Oh my lord,

All weekend I've been planning to come into work today start super early 4am, finish at 2pm and have a nice relaxed rest of the day.

Get to work read the rota, I'm not even meant to start till 730, in a totally different position and I've got late shift. What a mistakea to makea.

The screen on-off button on my mobile phone is dying. I will have to get a new ph methinks. Hopefully my username and password will get me back into OC.
 
Who would have thought the WiFi antenna on the MB was needed for Bluetooth. Not me, but now I know.

Last hurdle is to see if my screens remember their settings after been switched across the HDMI switcher. If not I’ll just buy the ASUS 5080 and be done with it.

Very hit and miss as 4K 120 apparently and the one promising option doesn’t support VRR.

The switcher seems to work though and so far it’s remembering my settings. It’s just messed up my cable management slightly since any longer than 2m from source to screens messes up the signal and it’s a tight stretch.

Next time I’ll just get a GPU with two HDMI! Would rather not change at the moment though.
 
There's a magpie staring at me on one leg for the past several minutes 2 foot away. He's waiting for his daily red Haribo but I've run out.
 
Aussie magpies are different to the murderbirds I have in my garden.

On the bright side I'm going to work at the correct time today

They have really done you there. It’s two for Tuesday for a start, you should have been paying about £24 not £44.

Did you click on the ‘deals’ tab?
 
I had MRIs and X-Rays done on my knees last week because they're a mess.

In 2019 I ruptured the ACL in my left knee. Fully torn. Didn't have the surgery to replace it.

I saw the doctor today for the results... and the ACL has fully healed itself. A complete repair. I didn't even know that was possible! I had very limited rehab and physio, but somehow the two frayed ends of my ACL (who were located as far away from each other as possible yet still in the same knee) have somehow found each other after all this time and joyfully reconnected.

I've mentioned it before but it is crazy, we used to get Domino's in for the team when working late on a Friday quite often but had to stop doing it when the bill for one person increased to the point it was a large part of what we used to pay for the whole team!
 
Found a picture of the village I live in from the end of WW2 - it is weird the eastern half of the village seems to have been completely demolished since, which had some lovely old houses, and replaced with bland 1970s builds. The road was in much nicer state then as well with the tarmac in good condition and neat lines instead of the pot holes and half-arsed line painting of today.
