The only REAL complaint about AMD I had was OpenGL performance and BOOM! baby!.
Is it at Nvidia level, I guess someone will have to test that out but it's far better than where it was.

I skimmed through the video but it would appear to be unigine heaven and superpositionSo which games have 55% improved performance?
I believe you are correct, EEVEE is also OpenGL based. I think this change will help with AMs general performance in certain applications.I think Blender uses OpenGL to draw the GUI? So that might be a little snappier now.
If you are going to be that pedantic, then you would need to identify how the code was changed to gain this performance. Did the performance come from fixing broken code or did a fresh pair of eyes realise that there is a more efficient way of achieveing something. If performance has increased by 55% the verb your looking for 'fixed' not 'improved'.
Look at the video thumb nail and what does it say.If you are going to be that pedantic, then you would need to identify how the code was changed to gain this performance. Fair enough if that’s what you were referring to but it doesn’t actually change the meaning of my post.Look at the video thumb nail and what does it say.

My OpenGL performance is pretty solid on my 6700XT using kernel 15.18.3-tkg-bmq & Mesa 22.0.1.Didn't OpenGL work much better on the linux drivers for amd?
Yes I believe they did. Unlike Nvidia, AMD have been Linux, and open source, friendly for a long time and have actively helped the community to create drivers. It's interesting to see that the open source drivers, at least in respect of OpenGL, are actually better than the closed source Windows drivers.Didn't OpenGL work much better on the linux drivers for amd?
