This is the reason I will never go multi GPU

Only didn't work in SLi out of the box as AMD had it locked out, so nice to see they've finally managed to find a way around it

Thats rubbish, ati crossfire never worked either at release of DiRt 2, you need to get your facts right, ati released a hotfix for it quicker than NV did, end of.

Doesn't ATi Tray Tools allow you to create crossfire profiles for games? I'm sure it does.

Don't know actually.

On nVidia tho if you actually can't get SLI working for rendering that way you can swap to using multi GPU AA in the game and get a benefit that way with 8-32x SLI AA supported.

He's most probably joking.

Calm down a little, you'll probably live longer. :p

My SLI GTX 275 setup tests

191.07 drivers = min fps 35.139137" / avg fps 46.814484
196.21 drivers = min fps 39.411049" / avg fps 49.821522 :(

Only got 3fps extra

I've found the ATI Control Panel pretty sparse in comparison to Nvidia's, there is a third party app floating about (similar to nhancer) that lets you force rendering modes etc, though i've not played with it yet. I've also read that game specific profiles are being introduced in a future driver.
