This possible in Firefox?

Is it possible to have content aware resize...so when I press the maximize button, it open increases the size to the maximum size it needs (like safari does)?

Have a look at New Tab King. I used it a while ago and I seem to remember that it does some of the things you mentioned. Not sure on everything though.

Speed Dial can be set to only show on new tab and it does keep the url bar empty and focused. However, you have to manually tell it what sites to include.

Sorted that issue, just after the content aware maximize now
