this processor any good?

Like I said pastymuncher could overclock his Core i5 4670K and another chap on overclock.net could not.

Microcode is something integral to the CPU and many chips:

MSI touted some budget overclocking B85 motherboards for the Pentium dual core so there must some new kind of exploit.

The Pentium dual core is a definitely a no no if you are looking at Watch Dogs.

Even when overclocked it is horrible it seems in the game.

I would say at least a Core i3 then or the AMD equivalent(FX6300).

i3 is getting ordered tomorrow night off overclockers, will use it for a wile then upgrade to i5 in time, will i see a difference going from q6600 to an i3?

Yes absolutely :p:D So much more raw power per mhz.

I would like to point out though the game watchdogs has problems in general , using any grade of equipment. Seems the game is designed poorly. :D

yeah my younger brother said that they sacrificed lower graphics for some other feature for the xbox 360 so obviously didnt think too much for the game.

glad i will see a difference cant wait to have my computer back up and running sitting there feeling sorry for itself until i get my i3 :)

More games are threading better and the Core i3 is a safer minimum bet, especially when things like minimums and frametimes are taken into consideration.

BTW,I went from a 3GHZ Q6600 to a SB based Core i3 and it was an upgrade, hence a Haswell based one will be a bigger upgrade.
