We have a couple of aerogeeks on here just so you know your not alone.

That's certainly true Although the other aerogeeks are on the theory/flying side of the fence as opposed to the maintenance.

The guy survived, his helmet took out all of the compressor and turbine blades.

If his head had reached the turbine blades his torso would have been cooked at 1800K His helmet hit the first two compressor stages, iirc.

Yup, I removed the flexible hose from the brake assembly and had a bit of trouble locating the blanking caps from the stores
