THIS WEEK ONLY DEALS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS LIKE BBQ RIBS

lol think half my office just bought that SSD as a steam drive. I should have kept my gasp quieter when I opened the thread.

These are the 2E's which were at the time the premium ones from OCZ which used better sourced NAND, in short our RMA rates show them as more reliable than the 2's and the 3's which followed afterwards.

They are a good drive, even more so for the money, plus remember they have a full warranty should a problem arise. :)

cheers Gibbo. i may buy one, i don't actually need one but my arm might twist itself and force me to do it!:p

Hmm, may have to take the plunge. Got a Sammy Pro for the OS. Just want a larger SSD for the more unused games.

I had the same idea, mine arrived today, one problem though, i already filled it =/ thats what ya get with a fibre optic line and steam virtually giving away games.

Looks like im saving for another one :)

Wow 480GB worth of games? Ive got fibre as well :P no where near of a collection as you though.
Hows loading games on it? A lot faster than an hdd (not ssd's like the pro)

TBH i havent tried any yet playing WoW atm :) ill try a few games and see how it looks, the main reason i got it was for a silent PC its great.

edit: just tested borderlands 2 for ya, the loading screens are less than a second now, much faster than my raptor :)

Those drives are really really tempting, especially as I'm upgrading with Haswell, and a large SSD would be great for my games :) (I just checked and my Steam folder is at about 400gb  )

I'm hoping OCUK have enough to last until Monday.

Will stock last a long time as in is it basically thousands of units lasting weeks or are we talking 100 drives here? I'm planning my pay day end of next month.
