This year at E3 I most want to see.........

I personaly think the PS3 isn't that badly priced when you consider what you get out of the box, and the games are coming, slowly, but they are coming...

I want to see Halo 3, Mass Effect and Haze. On the PS3 front, I just want to see Metal Gear Solid 4 being penned for a definite 2007 release. If Sony can't manage that, they're a laughing stock for this year. On the Wii front, I want to see more online games, Mario Galaxies and hopefully some third party games.

I really like platformers so I want to see Banjo Kazooie 3 and Mario Galaxy.
Also some gameplay footage of GTA IV and Final Fantasy XIII

Its been confirmed that damage will not be in GT5.

Theres talk of damge being DLC or something, thats a bit of a strange idea, but id rather have the game in 6-12months than 12-18 months if all i missed out on was damage.

Indeed thats why I had my :( in there. And they used the same old excuses as before which tbfh are getting tired now.

The damage may not be 100% perfect in Forza 2 but it adds a hell of a lot to the game imo, I just couldn't imagine playing without it.

Yeah some people will say it doesn't matter but i did a 30 lap endurance race in Forza yesterday and lost it on one corner near the end.The damage to my wing and tyres meant they were gaining about 4 seconds a lap on me but i managed to hold on and win by 6 seconds.

6 seconds may sound a lot but when you have been racing for an hour, its nothing. :p

I had a similar experience where I dozed off into a corner and then had to fend off 2 faster cars around New York for 4 laps. Down the straights they would be right up my *** with me weaving all over the road to block them, plus I was puffing out more smoke than the Red Arrows at the time. :D

Thats a whole (very fun) gaming experience that is lost without damage modeling.

Id always assumed Sony would announce a price cut then MS would follow, but theres always the possibility that MS would announce first to compete more with the Wii as a base unit then Sony would pretty much be forced to follow.

Bioshock and Banjo 3, I'd like a trailer of crysis too and an announcement of MGS4 for 360. I had my thrill of halo 3 on the beta so I'm fine on that front till september :P

True, but then again I don't think Microsoft can compete with the Wii.

Yeah and with them having to dump over a billion on repair refunds, iirc everybody who paid is going to get their money back, and also the extended warranty, i don't know if MS can realistically announce an official price drop at this time. It honestly can't make financial sense. The Home Entertainment division is still hemorrhaging money, and with Vista being a bit of a damp squib atm, i don't think a price drop is on the cards. I am not saying MS can't afford to spend lots of money, but announcing a screw up in a design is going to cost a billion to fix, it totally blows away any chance the 360 has in making any profit imo.

I agree with Nokkon, Sony need games more than they need a price cut. Sony will only need a price drop IF they don't secure some exclusives and get some games out within the next few months. Games will spur sales on sales a lot more than 50 quid off the RRP of the console. Cos even if you make the console cheaper, you still will only have the same poor choice of games.
