Actually you can sort of see one here

think i am going to stick mine to a cheap thin board of wood or some cardboard really dont like the raised edges from the paper being stuck in certain places

maybe some look cheap but some can deliver a really cool effect imo. but meh each to their own i guess:)
 
like that one, i think it really added to the effect of the image it being on A4 pages nice rasterbation Kristoph

It's a completely standard print method called 'half tone' that is very common on black and white print.

It's not an artistic 'effect'
 
I cant see why? My missus and I made a rasterbation 'poster' last year with a picture we took whilst we was in Wales. I was in colour and looked pretty stunning. Its was posted in another rasterbation thread. I cant link to the pictures as they are not on my webspace anymore.

We mounted it on some MDF and hung it on the wall. It looked very good.

As for posters, I will be purchasing two movie ones to go into the living room. The godfather and scarface. I already have the two cars from the movies ontop of the cabinets.
 
Yup i'm all for posters. They have place, and as longa s they're not stuck willy nilly on just any bare patch of wall then they can look nice, and finish off teh theme of a room nicely.
